And I hope you write to me and tell me about any success you are having with it. Or if you're not having success, I hope you'll drop me a note with suggestions for making future tutorials better.
Learn Braille using the braille ox, episode Five: Lesson 4, Letters K through T.

Today we'll be covering 10 letters. You'll have no trouble with ten letters in one shot, especially since you've had 3 weeks or so to practice the first 10. Those will be important for learning k through t and u through z, which is one reason we spent two lessons on them.
Once we've done the letters we'll use the braille box to make more two letter combinations as an exercise. This is the longest, most difficult lesson. After this it only get's easier.

Learn Braille using the braille ox, episode Four: Lesson 3, Numbers and capitals

This is the logical place to take a break from letters and switch to numbers for reasons that will become obvious. Remember, each lesson builds on the ones that came before, so hopefully you are well versed on the first 10 letters.

Today we talk about two forms of writing numbers, and we introduce the number sign. Then we go on and talk about the capital sign for a bit which is really very easy. You'll get a chance to make both sets of numbers on the braille box, and I've left the capitals for you to do on your own if you are interested.

Learn Braille using the braille ox, episode Three: Letters f through j

This week we'll be finishing off the first 10 letters of the alphabet.

Once we have that under our belt, we'll use both sells on the braille box to make two letter combinations. That way you can see the spacial relationship between dots from one sell to the next.

All of the rest of the lessons build on the 10 letter combinations we are working with today. That's one reason why I broke them down into two lessons. You will give yourself a huge break on the rest of the tutorial if you practice up these first two lessons letters a to j and master them really well.

Some one in the US must have them, but I did a quick google search and came up empty.

If you already have a braille box or know where to get one, I can sell a complete copy of the tutorial for $10 US plus shipping. Or, you can stay tuned and get the tutorial for free delivered to your podcatcher.
